Adult Supported Living
Services
Supported living
services are individually tailored arrangements of resources and supports that
enable people to live as independently as possible in their community.
Who is Eligible?
This service is
intended for adults (age 18 and over) who have a developmental disability. Some
individuals are able to live with support in their own apartment; others may
remain living with their families or have a roommate.
How to
access services?
Supported living
services are accessed through a developmental disabilities Case Manager or DEAP
Family Support Specialist who can place an individual on the waiting list. When
a service opportunity becomes available, the individual with the highest need
for the service will be selected by a screening committee. Individuals ages
18-21 years old receiving Intensive Family Education & Support Services may use
their cost plans to purchase these or other adult services without being on a
waiting list. DEAP provides services
in the following counties: Carter, Custer, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, Powder
River, Prairie, Rosebud, Treasure and Wibaux.
